Job summary

M S GOLD CRAFTS INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD. is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive in Kuala Lumpur to manage day-to-day accounting and ensure timely financial records.

You will support the Accounts Manager with reporting, month-end close, and compliance tasks while supervising junior staff. The role requires a diploma or degree in accounting, 2–4 years of related experience, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience handling full sets of accounts is an advantage.
• Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian accounting and statutory requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor company transactions.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables and payables.
• Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documents for external audits.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other relevant parties when required.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Ensure accounting activities comply with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
• Assist the Accounts Manager in overseeing the daily work of the Accounts team.
• Guide and support junior Accounts Executives and Accounts Associates.
• Review accounting entries and documents for accuracy.
• Assist in improving accounting processes and internal controls.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Accounts Manager.

The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing the company's day-to-day accounting functions and ensuring accurate and timely financial records. The role also supports the Accounts Manager in financial reporting, audit preparation, and other accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

Handle daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.

Requirements
