Job summary

Macro Success Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the full set of accounts for two licensed moneylending companies. You will be responsible for monthly closing, cash flow reporting, and ensuring accuracy in loan-related entries.

The role requires hands-on skills with SQL Accounting Software, basic tax knowledge, e-Invoicing and SST, and coordinating with auditors and tax agents.

Job description

The role requires strong hands-on accounting experience, familiarity with SQL Accounting Software, and the ability to handle monthly reporting, customer repayment accounting, e-Invoicing, SST, audit coordination and basic tax matters.

The successful candidate must also understand, or be able to confidently manage, accounting entries involving loan disbursements, upfront interest, facility fees, partial disbursements, repayments, overdue amounts and penalty charges.

Job Responsibilities

Handle full set of accounts for two licensed moneylending companies.

Prepare monthly management accounts and cash-flow reports.

Record and reconcile loan disbursements, repayments, interest, penalties and outstanding balances.

Account for upfront interest, facility fees and partial disbursements.

Manage bank reconciliations, AP, AR and general ledger.

Handle e-Invoicing and SST matters.

Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors and tax agents.

Maintain accurate records using SQL Accounting Software.

Support management with financial reporting and account analysis.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Minimum 3 years’ experience handling full set accounts.

Able to complete monthly closing independently.

Experience using SQL Accounting Software.

Basic knowledge of Malaysian tax, SST and e-Invoicing.

Experience handling loan, financing or repayment-related accounting is preferred.

Familiar with upfront interest, facility fees and partial disbursement accounting.

Good Excel skills and attention to detail.

Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Candidates with experience in moneylending, financing, leasing or financial services will have an added advantage.
