Job summary

BHP Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a qualified Accounting/Finance professional to support period-end close, consolidations, and financial reporting. You will collaborate with teams, manage reconciliations, and contribute to accurate monthly results.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with large corporate or shared service environments.
• Ability to manage deadlines and support monthly group reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure conformance with the BHP Charter and conduct requirements.
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and sustainable development.
• Execute period end close processes and journal postings on time.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations and verify data accuracy.
• Assist with external reporting and governance submissions.
• Support standardisation and BOS practice embedding across day-to-day work.
• Assist in SOX compliance and audit requirements.
