Job summary

PERSOL Malaysia seeks a Senior Accounting Officer to ensure accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS/MFRS and group requirements. You will manage month-end close, consolidate reporting, and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, 4–5 years of experience, strong Excel and ERP skills (SAP/Oracle), and excellent communication across departments. This role is based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS/MFRS reporting standards.
• Experience with month-end closing and variance analysis.
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills (SAP/Oracle).
• Good cross-departmental communication and audit liaison.

Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic financial and management reports per headquarters' requirements.
• Review sales results, gross profit, and variances vs budgets/forecasts.
• Compile data and support consolidated reporting to headquarters.
• Oversee month-, quarter-, and year-end closing for accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal teams and auditors for audit readiness.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/MFRS, tax rules, and internal policies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
