Job summary

JAC Recruitment International is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee accounting and financial reporting, ensure tax compliance, and guide a team. You will liaise with auditors and tax agents, review reports, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting.

The role requires 5 years in accounting with leadership, strong Excel and ERP familiarity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualifications (ACCA/MIA/CPA or equivalent).
• 5 years relevant working experience in accounting, outsourced accounting, with leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience in preparing full sets of accounts under MFRS/MPERS.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks, SQL, Xero, MultiBook and SAP.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with team and clients.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time-management, analytical and organizational skills.
• Japanese language would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting functions (monthly, quarterly, annual closing).
• Review bookkeeping records, consolidation reporting packages, and management reports prepared by the team.
• Oversee tax compliance including SST, WHT, corporate tax computations, and deferred tax.
