Tan Chong Group is a public listed conglomerate in Malaysia seeking an experienced accounting and finance leader to manage and drive day-to-day operations across General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Inventory.

You will oversee financial statements, budgets, cash flow, and management accounts, ensuring internal controls and timely reporting in line with applicable Financial Reporting Standards (FRS). The role also involves coaching staff and delivering ad-hoc analyses for management.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, time management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and lead the accounting & finance team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Inventory functions.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, budgeting, cash flow and management accounts.
• Ensure budgetary controls, forecasts and monthly management accounts are prepared and reviewed on a timely basis and that statements are interpretable.
• Involve in accounting system enhancements, process improvements and maintain strong internal controls.
• Ensure timely operational reporting and statutory compliant financial reporting.
• Provide coaching and mentoring for subordinates.
• Attend to ad-hoc tasks/analysis requested by management.
