Job summary

Tan Chong Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accountant to support monthly closing, financial statements, and management reporting. You will prepare analysis, budgets, forecasts, and assist with audit readiness.

The role requires a degree in Finance and Accounting, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Excel and Word. You will multitask and work under tight deadlines to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional degree in Finance and Accounting.
• 1–3 years of working experience in related field; auditing experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.
• Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly accounts closing including financial statements preparation, supporting schedules, tax computations and related matters
• Preparation of management report, financial analysis, budgets and forecast
• Handle statutory audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirement
• Continuously propose and support the team in process work flow improvement initiatives
• Any other projects and ad-hoc works assign from time to time
