Job summary

Venture Corporation Limited in Tebrau, Johor is seeking an Accountant to manage accounting and finance activities across the company and business units, ensuring timely and accurate financial reports.

Responsibilities include monthly financial and management reporting, cost analysis, AR/GL/Costing oversight, budgeting and rolling forecasts, and collaboration with operations to address accounting issues, while ensuring regulatory compliance and auditor coordination.

Qualifications

• SPM with years of experience or Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting or a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA) or equivalent.
• Working experience in an international accounting firm and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to grasp business logic, and apply to accounting and operational situations.
• Knowledge in SAP or other ERP system is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of timely monthly financial and management reports.
• Perform analysis on monthly financials of business units, including detailed costing & margin analysis on product line.
• Oversee AR, GL, Costing functions and any accounting scope as assigned by the Manager.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget and rolling forecasts.
• Engage with the operation team to discuss and provide advice on accounting issues.
• Ensure effective financial control of operations and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain good relationships with external and internal auditors.
• Participate in EHS and other corporate projects as assigned.
