Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking an Accountant to analyse financial information and prepare reports under US-GAAP for month-end close, asset and liability accounting, and tax considerations.

You will work with the General Accounting team to deliver daily and monthly reports, perform GL reconciliations, and support SOX controls, using Excel and ERP systems (Oracle/SAP). Mandarin communication with stakeholders is required in this role.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) is an advantage.
• Mandarin language ability is required for this role.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and adaptability to process changes.
• BS or BA degree in relevant field with 5–7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in assigned accounting and month end closing processes under US-GAAP.
• Perform accounting activities with the team.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports and assist colleagues in General Accounting.
• Conduct month-end closings, GL analysis and Balance Sheet reconciliations; support SOX controls.
• Maintain communication with vendors and customers regarding fixed asset issues.
• Assist with issue resolution impacting timely month-end close.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned.

Job Summary: As an Accountant, you analyse financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Actively participating in assigned accounting and month end closing processes under US-GAAP
• Performing Accounting activities with the team
• Reporting: you provide a daily and monthly reports and assist to your colleagues from the General Accounting team
• Perform month-end closings, general ledger account analysis and Balance Sheet account reconciliations, prepare SOX controls
• Continuous contact with vendors, customers regarding fixed asset issues
• Assist with the resolution of any issues that could impact the timely month-end closing
• And Other tasks as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
