Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced accounting professional to maintain records, process invoices, and assist in preparing financial statements. The role requires strong attention to detail, tax compliance knowledge, and proficiency with accounting software.

You will handle AP/AR, bank reconciliations, budgeting support, payroll calculations, and audit preparation, working five days a week under the supervision of the finance manager in China.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 24 years experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of local financial regulations and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records (ledgers, journals, AP/AR).
• Process invoices and ensure timely collections/payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledgers.
• Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis.
• Assist with tax filings (VAT, income tax, payroll taxes).
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance tracking.
• Assist in payroll calculations and deductions.
• Prepare documents for internal/external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support special finance-related projects.
