Job summary

Gain City Parts Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is looking for an experienced Accountant/Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, including payable and receivable functions, and to prepare financial statements.

You will review reports, monitor cash flow, assist budgeting and forecasting, liaise with auditors and tax agents, and support month-end and year-end closings while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and local tax regulations.
• Meticulous, well-organized, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities as needed
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Assist management with financial analysis and reporting as required
