Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an Accounts and Administration Assistant responsible for core accounting functions and financial administration. You will handle AP/AR, GL postings, bank reconciliations, and assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports for management review.

The role involves coordinating with auditors, tax agents, and internal teams to ensure compliance, filing, budgeting and cash flow projections for informed decision making.

Responsibilities

• a) Day to day accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger.
• b) Prepare billings and check payments with relevant documentation for management verification and approval.
• c) Monitor bank balance and monthly bank reconciliation.
• d) Prepare monthly and annual financial and management reports for management review.
• e) Ensure proper filing of all documents related to the company’s financial records.
• f) Liaise with operations team, external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other parties to ensure regulatory & statutory compliance.
• g) Responsible for cash flow projection and budget preparation.
• h) Assist in preparation of financial analysis, business valuation, financial projections and related reports for management decision making.
