Job summary

WTA Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support daily finance operations in Malaysia. The role covers AP, AR, banking, and general ledger activities while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will assist month-end close, prepare reports, handle intercompany reconciliations, and coordinate tax schedules for Malaysia and Singapore, using CargoWise and advanced Excel. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5–7 years of experience are expected; independence, accuracy, and IFRS/GAAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience with Malaysian & Singapore standards.
• Experience with ERP systems, CargoWise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and chart of accounts.
• Record and process vendor invoices; manage AP/AR aging and reconciliations.
• Support month-end close, prepare financial reports, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with tax agents for Malaysia (LHDN) and Singapore (IRAS) filings.
