Job summary

PBA Systems(M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Account Executive/Account Executive to manage daily finance operations from Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will oversee AR/AP, cash flow, and prepare full-set accounts for the group and subsidiaries.

You will collaborate with auditors, tax agents, and internal stakeholders, while guiding the Accounting Executive and other finance personnel. Mandarin ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
• At least 2-5 years of working experience in the related field.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily finance operational matters (AR, AP, cash flow) for PBA Group and subsidiaries.
• Prepare full set of accounts including management accounts, intercompany/bank reconciliations, and accounting schedules.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, directors and authorities.
• Assist in group external & internal audit exercises.
• Lead and guide Accounting Executive and junior finance staff.
• Engage in ad-hoc tasks/projects as required.

As a passionate and adept individual, your primary responsibility is to handle daily finance operational matters. Providing excellent servicing to the company, you will contribute to improving the operation's productivity.

Job Responsibilities and Key Results:

Responsible for daily finance operational matters, eg: AR, AP, Cash flow, etc. for PBA Group including its subsidiaries.

Responsible for preparation of full set of account including management accounts, intercompany/bank reconciliation, accounting schedule, etc.

Close liaison with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, directors as well as other relevant authorities.

To assist in group external & internal audit exercise.

Responsible for other ad-hoc tasks/projects of the company.

To lead & provide guidance to Accounting Executive (level 2) and below finance personnel.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English. Candidates with Mandarin proficiency will be an added advantage as the role requires communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.

At least 2-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Required Skill(s): ERP, Microsoft Dynamics.
