Job summary

Bumantara Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Account Executive or Account Executive to manage the full set of accounts, support closing activities, and collaborate with departments to ensure accurate financial operations. The role requires 5+ years of accounting experience and strong analytical and communication skills.

Experience with SQL Accounting or similar systems is preferred and Mandarin language ability is an added advantage. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Knowledge of full set of accounts, AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records for the full set of accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• -Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date accounting records, including handling the full set of accounts independently.
• -Support month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with company timelines.
• -Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and effective communication.
• -Working in close coordination with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• -Participate in continuous improvement of accounting systems, processes, and internal reporting efficiency.
• -Lead and guide junior accounting staff, providing support and supervision where necessary.

Job Requirements:

• -Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting and finance.
• -Knowledge of full set accounts, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliation, and general ledger functions.
• -Experience with accounting software such as SQL Accounting or similar systems.
• -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• -Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• -Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
