Job summary

Gear Inc. is seeking a diligent accounting professional to manage full sets of accounts, close monthly and year-end, and oversee vendor payments in Malaysia.

The role demands coordination with local and overseas vendors, and careful cash flow monitoring to optimize funds and bank transfers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, at least 3 years of general accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in general accounting or finance roles.
• Able to handle full set of accounts and arrange payments.
• Familiar with country tax regulations and audit processes.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of multiple dormant accounts and oversee month-end/year-end closing.
• Manage local & overseas vendors and salary payments.
• Perform daily bank balance monitoring and monitor cash flow for optimal fund allocation.
• Work with vendors/requestors to resolve financial accounting matters.
• Verify the accuracy and sufficiency of documents from vendors to support operations.
• Coordinate with banks for international wire transfers and banking operations.

• Manage local & overseas vendors and salary payments.
• Perform daily bank balance monitoring and monitor cash flow for optimal fund allocation into FD.
• Work collaboratively with the vendors/requestors to resolve financial accounting related matters.
• Verify the accuracy and sufficiency of documents from vendors to support smooth financial operations.
• Manage foreign currency transactions to minimize exchange losses.
• Coordinate with banks to facilitate international wire transfers and other banking operations.
• To perform other ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements and skills:

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: at least 3years in general accounting or finance roles
• Able to handle full set account.
