Job summary

Axonect is seeking an experienced Ericsson Core Network Architect to design, implement, and optimize 4G/5G Core Network solutions. You will lead the architecture of scalable, secure packet core and IMS components, while driving cloud-native deployments and end-to-end lifecycle management.

Responsibilities include creating HLDs/LLDs, deploying CNFs and VNFs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to Ericsson best practices and 3GPP standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in telecom core network architecture or deployment.
• Strong Ericsson 4G/5G Core and 3GPP standards knowledge.
• Experience with CNFs and VNFs in cloud-native environments.
• Familiarity with NFV/SDN, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• Proficient in network analysis and troubleshooting (Wireshark).
• Scripting/analytics skills (Python, SQL, Tableau) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design HLDs and LLDs for Ericsson 4G/5G Core (SA/NSA).
• Deploy, integrate, and configure CNFs and VNFs in cloud-native envs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements.
• Drive capacity planning, performance optimization, lifecycle mgmt.
• Plan software upgrades, migrations with minimal service impact.
• Troubleshoot signaling and user-plane issues to ensure resolution.
• Support network integration, interoperability and end-to-end validation.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and Ericsson best practices.
• Prepare architecture diagrams and implementation guides.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams and customers.
