Job summary

Micron Technology in Malaysia is seeking a Test Equipment Technician to install and maintain manufacturing equipment and sustain performance through improvement activities. You will transfer, set up and buy off test equipment, support ramp-up, and troubleshoot to keep uptime.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, 1+ year experience, and strong teamwork and communication skills. AI tools may be used to retrieve technical information and assist troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical engineering and Electronic/Electrical Engineering.
• Highly motivated individuals with more than 1 year working experience are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of Semiconductor Testing equipment processes; hands-on experience a plus.
• A good teammate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Test equipment transfer, setup and buyoff, and support for manufacturing ramp up.
• Sustain equipment uptime with hands-on troubleshooting.
• Perform scheduled PM as per plan.
• Perform equipment setup, buyoff, and conversion.
• Manage spare parts/tools/meters.
