Job summary

Acquirax Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor) to perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of E.O.L. equipment across client sites in Malaysia.

You will diagnose complex issues, perform preventative maintenance, and document every service activity while coordinating with the internal team. The role requires a Diploma or degree in Engineering, proven semiconductor field experience, strong technical and communication skills, and a valid driving licence

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor) or similar technical field support role.
• Strong technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex issues on E.O.L. Semiconductor equipment.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical information to non-technical clients.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities with capacity to manage multiple service calls.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites (Ipoh and Penang).
• Physical capability to perform hands-on engineering work and lift equipment.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and compliance regulations.
• Customer service orientation focused on delivering quality support.
• Preferred: Technical certifications or specialised training for Semiconductor equipment types.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for Semiconductor E.O.L. equipment.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks and servicing per schedules and protocols.
• Document all work, including service reports and maintenance records.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
• Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot critical equipment failures.
• Maintain and manage field equipment and tools; ensure they are in working order.
• Collaborate with the technical team to identify recurring issues and improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients on equipment operation and best practices.
• Travel to various client sites across the region as required.
