Job summary

GIROBUMI TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD is seeking an Semiconductor Equipment After-Sales Engineer in Penang, Malaysia. You will install, commission and Start-up automated semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites, support changeovers, troubleshoot faults and provide technical guidance and training to operators.

Candidates should hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electronics or a related discipline, be proficient in Mandarin for client communication, and be

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese required for client communication.
• Willingness to travel for short-term assignments and urgent support.
• Strong hands-on skills, logical thinking and basic troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and start up automated semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites.
• Support equipment changeovers and ensure reliable equipment operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and process issues, carry out repairs and follow up until issues are resolved.
• Provide equipment demonstrations, technical guidance and operator training.
• Prepare service reports, commissioning records and troubleshooting summaries.
• Share customer feedback and equipment issues with technical and R&D teams to support improvements.
• Assist with equipment acceptance, customer follow-up, on-site support and short-term service trips.
