Job summary

STMicroelectronics is offering an Assembly Process Engineering Intern position in Malaysia. You will work with engineers on semiconductor assembly processes (SAW, DA, WB, molding) and support quality improvement projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Proficient with Excel; Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support process-sustaining and improvement activities to enhance quality and yield; reduce customer complaints and holds.
Assist production in achieving WWS targets.
Monitor process performance to stay within SPC control limits.
Prepare and update process documentation (specifications, SOPs, FMEAs, control plans).
Provide technical support during investigations of material/process quality issues.
Follow safety, quality, and confidentiality policies.
