Job summary

STMicroelectronics Sdn Bhd is seeking an In-Process Quality Engineer to ensure product quality and process stability in manufacturing. You will lead in-process QA activities, prevent defects, strengthen process controls, and collaborate with Process Engineering and Manufacturing to meet quality targets.

The role emphasizes leadership in Pre-Assembly and Front-of-Line QA, MRB management, and driving corrective actions across the assembly line in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years QA experience in Assembly.
• Experience with Wafer Back grinding/Wafer Saw/Die Attach/Wire Bond is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA for Pre-Assembly and Front-of-Line (FOL) assembly.
• Manage Assembly MRB including disposition and risk assessment for NCL lots.
• Lead 8D problem-solving for assembly defects and CARs.
