Job summary

Amari Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive Security Supervisor to lead and oversee all allocated resources to ensure secure premises and smooth operations in line with targets.

You will supervise security operations, respond to incidents, coordinate evacuations when required, and report findings to the Manager, Safety & Security. The role requires a high school diploma and 3+ years in security, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a security role, with supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organise, deploy and supervise resources to achieve operational and, when required, financial targets.
• Supervise security operations for building evacuations.
• Conduct regular checks on fire, safety, security and emergency procedures; report to Manager, Safety & Security.
• Respond to incidents involving security or safety and initiate actions.
• Ensure emergency services and relevant management are informed during major incidents per instructions.
• Carry out other duties as directed by the Manager, Safety & Security.

Job description

• To organise, deploy & supervise all allocated resources in such a way as to secure optimal performance and achievement of operational and when required, financial targets
• To supervise the security operations connected with the evacuation of buildings
• To carry out regular checks on fire, safety, security and other emergency procedures and to report the result of such checks to the Manager, Safety & Security
• To respond to and attend as necessary any incidents involving security or safety of premises of team member, and to initiate appropriate actions
• To ensure that, in the event of a major incident the emergency services are informed immediately where necessary, that relevant management representatives are contacted immediately, and other appropriate action is taken in line with assignment instructions
• To carry out any other relevant duties as directed by the Manager, Safety & Security
