Job summary

Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd is seeking an Executive - Local HR (Security Operations) to oversee overall security operations in Sepang, Malaysia. The role focuses on coordinating security activities, enforcing procedures, and mitigating risks to people, assets, and information.

You will lead recruitment and governance of security personnel, develop training programs, and drive security audits to ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining meticulous records and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in any discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Capable of proposing, implementing, and enforcing security procedures.
• Involved in recruitment, selection, training, development, motivation, and discipline of security guards.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to overall security operations.
• Effectively coordinate and liaise with Security Companies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage security operations and safety activities to comply with regulatory and company standards.
• Implement and enforce effective security measures and procedures.
• Identify gaps in security operations and recommend improvements.
• Mitigate risks and threats to personnel, assets, and information.
• Review and elevate workorders to the Facility Department for maintenance or repair.
• Respond to onsite security issues, monitor resolution, and review misconduct reports for escalation.
• Supervise recruitment, selection, and governance of security personnel, including background checks.
• Develop and conduct training and induction programs for all security personnel.
• Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with laws and social regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation of forms, reports, checklists, and other security records.
