Job summary

Hyatt Regency Kinabalu in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is seeking a Security Manager to oversee the hotel security function, protect guests, associates, operations and assets, and serve as the head of hotel security. You will advise the General Manager and Leadership Committee on all safety matters.

The role requires at least 3 years in a security management role in a corporate environment, a strong commitment to customer care, safety and security, and computer literacy with strong administration skills.

Qualifications

• We are seeking a disciplined and passionate individual with a minimum of 3 years experience in a Security Management role within a corporate environment.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to customer care, safety and security, be computer literate and possess strong administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Security support to all departments across the Hotel
• Fire Safety – including patrols and hazard identification
• Employee and Asset Protection
• Maintenance of the Hotel’s Emergency Management Plan
• Development and implementation of various Hotel Safety & Security procedures
• Ensuring compliance with company policy and procedure
• Incident response, investigation and report writing
• Monitoring CCTV and internal alarms
• Providing proactive public security presence
