Job summary

Carsem is seeking a Production Planner to develop, manage, and maintain detailed lot schedules to support production planning and ensure on-time delivery of orders. You will coordinate readiness for NPI builds (ES / Qualification / Ramp / SOD) and work closely with Engineering, Production, and Procurement to align schedules and material readiness.

You will monitor day-to-day production progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to protect timelines while ensuring BOMs and work

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operational Research, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of planning or supply chain experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and planning systems; strong documentation control.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed lot schedules to support production planning and on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate readiness for NPI builds (ES / Qualification / Ramp / SOD).
  • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Production, and Procurement teams to align schedules, material readiness, and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to resolve operational issues and mitigate risks.
  • Monitor day-to-day production progress and implement corrective actions to protect timelines.
  • Ensure BOMs, work instructions, and records are accurate, current, and compliant with standards.
  • Track production performance and highlight risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to management and customers.
  • Monitor production progress (WIP, output, cycle time) and adjust plans to meet delivery targets.
  • Track and manage NPI milestones and ensure all timeline commitments are achieved.
  • Identify risks (capacity, material shortages, delays) and drive mitigation plans.
  • Support ramp-up activities and transition to mass production.
  • Maintain accurate planning data in ERP / MES systems.

Job Requirements:


  • Possesses a Diploma and bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operational Research, Engineering, or any related discipline

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor planning or a related field

  • Skilled in using Excel, ERP or any planner system

  • Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Solid understanding of production workflows and documentation control

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proactive problem-solving and analytical mindset
