Agrobank invites a skilled valuation specialist to lead internal property valuation and advisory tasks. You will inspect sites as needed, analyze supporting data, and provide market value opinions to the Head of Valuation for decisive action.
Responsibilities include reviewing existing panel valuers, processing new branch emplacements, and updating signatory lists. Strong ethics and precise, detail-oriented work are essential for risk-aware loan performance support.
Execute the property/real estate valuation/advisory assignments for internal purposes including management of panel valuers and other related ad-hoc task or assignments.
Principal Accountabilities:
Conduct professional valuation or advisory assignments;
Conduct inspection or site survey when it is necessary;
Compile and analyze data/evidences for support or justification on the related matters;
Propose and recommend Market Value or other related professional advisory opinion to the Head of Valuation Section for final decision.
Conduct annual review on the existing panel valuers;
Review application for new emplacement, upgrade category, inclusion of new branches and others;
Update list of authorized signatories and other related information pertaining to panel valuers;
Update internal parties on the latest information pertaining to the panel valuers.
Conduct and finalize the assigned task within the Turn Around Time (TAT);
Example of assignments are as follows:
Assist in reviewing Property Valuation Policy & Policy on Emplacement of Panel Valuers
Prepare Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), forms and others
Analyze data for monthly reporting purposes
Prepare and finalize directive or circular
Manage the Management Risk Committee meeting materials.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Property Development/Real Estate Management or equivalent Degree in Property Management.
Registered as Probationary Valuer with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers Malaysia will be added advantage.
3 to 5 years’ experience in property valuation, research or other related field.
Strong or good knowledge in property / real estate valuation or research.
Good written and presentation skills will be essential.
Excellent knowledge/ computer skills including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and other application
Self-motivated, able to work independently
Possess and eye for detail, meticulous, precise and thorough
Professional attitude with strong grasp of ethics at all times
Have excellent oral and written communications skills, analytical thinking, leadership and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical skills and ability to confidently exercise independent and good judgment with respect to real estate valuations used during critical stages of loan performance process.
