Job summary

Hapag-Lloyd is seeking an Equipment Manager to lead the Southeast Asia Equipment team, ensuring availability, positioning, utilisation and control of container equipment across the Area. You will drive Flow Execution, Portfolio Management and Equipment Steering to align with commercial demand and operational requirements.

The role requires 7–10 years in equipment management or logistics, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, maritime studies or related field.
• 7–10 years in equipment management or logistics, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of container equipment flows and stock balancing.
• Understanding of liner-shipping networks and depot operations.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Southeast Asia Equipment team and set clear objectives.
• Oversee Equipment Flow Execution, Portfolio Management and Equipment Steering.
• Coordinate equipment movements and steering decisions with regional teams.
• Monitor stock levels and optimize equipment utilization.
