Job summary

NXP Semiconductors Malaysia is seeking an SCO - OSAT Factory Planner to optimize production schedules and material flow across OSAT factories. You will balance capacity, demand, and inventory to ensure timely delivery and efficiency.

Responsibilities include developing OSAT production plans, analyzing demand and constraints, and partnering with OSATs to address bottlenecks while managing inventories. Proficiency with SAP and Excel is essential, as is strong analytical and communication ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration).
• 3+ years of experience in production planning, factory planning, or supply chain management in semiconductors, OSAT exposure preferred.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, especially assembly and test operations.
• Proficiency in planning tools (SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive production plans for assigned OSAT factories, aligning with global supply chain strategies and customer demands.
• Analyze demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and material availability to create optimized build plans and commit schedules.
• Collaborate with OSAT partners to monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement recovery plans.
• Manage and track inventory levels at OSATs to support production while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
• Work cross-functionally with S&OP, Procurement, Engineering, and Logistics to resolve supply chain issues.
• Utilize advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP) to generate, monitor, and adjust production schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement in OSAT planning to reduce cost, lead time, and improve service levels.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, forecast accuracy, and inventory health.
