Job summary

AT&S in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah, Malaysia is seeking a Planner (Production Planning Control) to join its S&OP Team. The role focuses on scheduling and coordinating production to meet customer demand and capacity constraints.

The candidate will work with Engineering, QA, Warehouse, and Operations, ensuring timely updates and plan adherence. Weekend duty may be required on a rotational basis. Degree in related field and ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in production planning, line coordination, or manufacturing preferred.
• Familiar with ERP/MES systems (SAP/Oracle) is an advantage.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand and capacity.
• Communicate priorities and changes to Production.
• Monitor WIP movement, bottlenecks, and production progress.
• Follow up with Production to ensure lots move according to the schedule.
• Support shipment planning by confirming output readiness daily.
• Highlight risks that may impact OTD or customer commits.
• Assist in recovery planning during line downtime or shortage situations.
• Attend daily production meetings to present plan vs actual.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA, Warehouse, and Operations to solve issues.
• Ensure all stakeholders receive updated production plans and priority lists.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports for plan adherence, output, and WIP.
• Support any required ad hoc analysis for planning improvement.
