Job summary

Gateway Search is seeking an experienced SCCM & Intune Engineer to join our client’s team in Malaysia on a 1-year contract. The role focuses on deploying and managing SCCM and Intune environments, device provisioning, patching, and policy enforcement across enterprise endpoints.

You will collaborate with security and customer teams to ensure compliance and data protection, including BYOD programs. The ideal candidate has strong PowerShell skills, deep knowledge of Entra ID/Azure AD, Autopilot,

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM / Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune.
• Strong understanding of SCCM and Intune architecture, functionality, integration, and enterprise deployment.
• Good knowledge of Windows client administration and enterprise endpoint management.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, Windows Autopilot, MDM, and MAM.
• Experience with Windows patch management, application packaging and deployment, device configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting endpoints within a large-scale enterprise environment is highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex endpoint management issues.
• Good communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills.
• Comfortable with up to 50% business travel.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain SCCM and Intune environments.
• Manage the full lifecycle of Windows endpoints: provisioning, patching, deployment, configuration, and asset management.
• Implement and maintain MDM and MAM policies via Intune.
• Collaborate with security, infra, and customers to enforce device compliance and data protection.
• Support enrollment and policy deployment for corporate-owned and BYOD devices.
• Configure Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and Windows Autopilot.
• Troubleshoot SCCM and Intune incidents including enrollment and deployment issues.
• Monitor and optimize endpoint management infrastructure for stability and performance.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
• Maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and participate in engagements.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
