Job summary

Johnson Matthey Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in Malaysia to drive Azure environments, IaC automation, and cloud governance. You will manage Azure subscriptions, VNets, storage, and compute, implement Terraform and Bicep templates, and collaborate with security and network teams.

This 1-year renewable contract requires 3-5 years Azure experience, willingness to work APAC/EMEA shifts, and ability to document and optimize cloud operations while supporting migration initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure administration and cloud operations.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep to automate Azure deployments.
• Familiarity with Azure governance and security controls (Azure Policy, PIM, Entra ID RBAC).

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain IaC templates with Terraform and Bicep for automated provisioning.
• Support cloud architecture, landing zone setup, governance, and policy alignment.
• Manage patch compliance across Azure workloads using Azure Update Manager and PIM.
• Monitor resource health, troubleshoot incidents, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams and maintain documentation.
