Job summary

INITIA GROUP, INC. in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks a Scalp/Head Spa therapist to enhance clients' hair and scalp health.

You will create customized treatment plans and deliver exceptional customer service, including scalp analysis and tailored recommendations. Responsibilities include scalp treatments, product recommendations, maintaining cleanliness, and handling shifting schedules, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Scalp Consultant or similar role in beauty 6 months to 1 year.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, well-groomed and service oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work shifting schedules, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide scalp treatments and professional scalp analysis.
• Recommend hair and scalp care products, treatments, and packages.
• Consult and apply technical know-how to meet client needs.
• Advise clients on best options for hair/scalp health.
• Maintain spa and treatment room cleanliness and safety.

Job description

Department: Operations Department – Salon

Working days: 5-6 days a week

Overall Job Objectives:

As a Scalp /Head Spa therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' overall hair and scalp health The therapist will be responsible for creating customized treatment plans based on individual client needs, promoting hair and scalp health, and delivering exceptional customer service.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide scalp treatments, perform professional hair scalp analysis for customers, including shampoo, blow-dry, basic head massage, and related services

Recommend hair and scalp care products, treatments, and packages to customers.

Provide the right solution to the customer by consulting, listening and applying technical know-how

Communicate and advise what is best for the client's interest

Maintains spa and treatment room, cleanliness and safety standards according to standard operating procedures

Provide excellent service and create exceptional experiences for customers

Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the company

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

At least 6 months - 1 year related experience as a Scalp Consultant or in a similar role within the beauty industry

Professional certificate is a plus

Excellent customer service & sensitivity to customers’ needs and paying attention to details.

Positive attitude and cheerful

Service oriented and well-groomed

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment

Able to work on shifting schedules, weekend and public holiday

KEY DELIVERABLES:

Deliver head spa treatments (scalp massages, hair treatments, etc.) in a timely, efficient, and professional manner, ensuring client satisfaction.

Ensure thorough consultations to accurately assess client needs, offering solutions tailored to their scalp and hair health.

Actively promote and recommend hair and scalp care products to clients, contributing to retail sales targets.
