Job summary

Strato Solutions Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a candidate to assist in maintaining and monitoring SCADA systems, electrical network data, and communications infrastructure used in power system operations.

The role involves updating SCADA data models, performing routine monitoring of hardware/software, supporting RTU, routers, and switches, conducting health checks and alarm monitoring, and recording daily logs. Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Eng required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of SCADA systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in SCADA data model updates and database entry for electrical network systems.
• Perform routine monitoring and checking of SCADA system hardware and software.
• Support network and communication checks for SCADA equipment such as RTU, routers, and switches.
• Assist in system health checks and alarm monitoring.
• Conduct data backup and archive management activities.
• Record and report system activities through daily logs and reports.
• Work closely with engineers and project team members.
