Job summary

Etiqa IT is seeking a seasoned SAS IT specialist to collaborate with the Data Management Team on data analytics projects and SAS IFRS 17 solutions. You will support month-end closing, CRs, enhancements, and post-production defect resolution while aligning solutions with Etiqa IT's core values.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in SAS Base/Macros and SAS DI, IFRS 17 experience in insurance, and proficiency with SAS EG, SMC, SAS VA, and LSF. Strong communication across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in SAS Base & Macros and SAS DI, focusing on financial reporting, risks, or actuarial solutions.
• Experience with IFRS 17 requirements or regulatory compliance in the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in SAS Base, SAS Macro, SAS DI, SAS Management Console (SMC), SAS Enterprise Guide (SAS EG), SAS Visual Analytics (SAS VA), and LSF for scheduling.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data validation techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across functional teams.
• Certification in using SAS products or relevant actuarial certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cross-functional initiatives to enhance overall data processing and reporting accuracy in data analytics and reporting projects.
• Balance priorities between different teams and manage workload effectively.
• Support and actively engage in new and ongoing SAS IT projects to enhance SAS IFRS 17 Solution capabilities.
• Document processes, procedures, and technical specifications.
• Support month-end closing, change requests (CRs), enhancements, and post-production defect resolution.
