Job summary

Great Eastern Malaysia is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (IFRS 17) to join our IT team. You will deploy and configure applications, collaborate with vendors, and ensure alignment with our architecture standards.

You will lead technical design, review documentation, support SIT/UAT, and coach junior developers while delivering high-quality, secure solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science / IT / Information Systems.
• 5+ years of development experience with PL/SQL and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle DB, WebLogic, and UNIX OS.
• Experience with Java or shell scripting and integration with multiple systems.
• Familiar with SSO and enterprise scheduling tools (Autosys/Control-M).

Responsibilities

• Manage deployment packages and coordinate deployments to SIT/UAT/Production.
• Configure applications with vendor support and ensure architecture compliance.
• Review technical documentation and ensure code quality.
• Work with peers and vendors to support IFRS17 application and data integration.
• Guide junior developers, support SIT/UAT testing, and assist security testing.
