Job summary

SAS Institute in Malaysia is seeking an Intermediate Analytical Consultant to join our Risk Practice in APAC, based in Kuala Lumpur. You will support the delivery and growth of our risk management solutions for banking clients, working with senior consultants and client stakeholders.

You will contribute to SAS’s risk offerings (RCM, IFRS 9, Enterprise Stress Testing) and build domain expertise while supporting solution delivery, client engagements, and analytical use cases on SAS Risk Stratum.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in risk management in a bank, consulting firm, or risk technology environment.
• Foundational knowledge in Basel frameworks, IFRS 9, and stress testing.
• Experience with SAS risk solutions (Risk Stratum or Viya) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver risk solutions for APAC clients and support project delivery.
• Assist in pre-sales activities, demos, and PoCs.
• Translate business requirements into functional and analytical specifications; support implementation.
