Job summary

Luxoft Malaysia is assisting a leading bank with a global network of 500+ branches, seeking experienced Consultants to join its Technology and Operations team in Kuala Lumpur. The Technology Centre in Kuala Lumpur will drive innovative financial technology solutions and digital transformation across Malaysia and overseas branches.

Responsibilities include developing, enhancing, and maintaining SAS solutions, deployment via CI/CD, production support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in SAS application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAS Viya and SAS 9.4.
• Experience working with SAS CAS (Cloud Analytic Services).
• Working knowledge of Python and/or R.
• Experience in production support, incident analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating SAS platforms with external systems.
• Experience working with network teams on connectivity and firewall requirements.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment processes.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using SAS Viya and SAS 9.4.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy SAS programs to support business requirements.
• Perform production support activities, including incident analysis, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
• Develop and optimize SAS programs for analytics and reporting solutions.
• Configure and maintain connectivity between SAS platforms and external systems.
• Work with infrastructure and network teams to establish secure communication channels, including firewall configuration requirements.
• Support deployment activities using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Schedule and monitor batch jobs using Control-M.
• Perform unit testing, SIT, and support UAT.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with development standards.
• Participate in release management and production deployments.

Our client, a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices across 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, is looking for experienced Consultants to join its Technology and Operations team.

The Technology and Operations function comprises five specialist teams with distinct capabilities in business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support services. These teams work closely together to harness technology in supporting both physical and digital banking services while developing, centralizing, and standardizing technology platforms and banking operations across Malaysia and overseas branches.

With more than 80 years of banking history, the client is expanding its technology footprint in Malaysia. The successful candidate will be based at a newly established Technology Centre in Kuala Lumpur, contributing to innovative financial technology solutions that drive business growth and digital transformation.
