SEDC GLOBAL BUSINESS SERVICES SDN. BHD. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily yacht operations in Sarawak, ensuring safety, SOP compliance and exceptional guest experiences.

Based full-time in Sarawak, you will lead crews, manage budgets, and coordinate with authorities to deliver premium maritime tourism services. The role requires a Malaysian citizen with 5+ years in yacht/cruise operations or luxury hospitality, plus relevant maritime certifications (STCW, CoC preferred).

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizen based in Sarawak.
• Bachelor's/Diploma or professional maritime/hospitality certification required.
• Minimum 5 years in yacht/cruise operations or premium tourism/ hospitality with maritime vessels.
• Knowledge of marine regulations and vessel safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise routine yacht maintenance and inspections.
• Recruit, train and lead yacht crew to ensure safety and service excellence.
• Coordinate with tourism boards, port authorities and internal departments.
• Develop luxury tour packages, marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Liaise with travel agents and luxury concierge partners for VIP experiences.
• Monitor budgets and implement cost-effective improvements while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Continuously improve customer experience and service delivery.
