Job summary

Freedom Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP PP/MM Consultant to join a large-scale SAP programme supporting a complex manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise across SAP Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management / Inventory Management (MM/IM), with a solid understanding of end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes. Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP PP/MM functional consulting experience.
• Deep knowledge of SAP PP: MRP, production orders, manufacturing execution.
• Strong MM/IM knowledge: procurement and inventory management.
• Experience with MTO/MTS manufacturing environments.
• Good PP-MM integration with broader logistics processes.
• Experience collaborating with manufacturing and supply chain users.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP PP and MM/IM activities across manufacturing operations.
• Configure Production Planning, including MRP, production orders, capacity planning and shop-floor processes.
• Support Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) manufacturing scenarios.
• Manage MM processes: procurement, inventory management, goods receipt/issue, stock movements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, warehouse, procurement and supply chain stakeholders.
• Ensure PP-MM integration with SD and warehouse/logistics processes.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, cutover and go-live/support.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and recommend improvements.

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP/MM Consultant to join a large-scale SAP programme supporting a complex manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise across SAP Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management / Inventory Management (MM/IM), with solid understanding of end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP PP and MM/IM functional activities across manufacturing operations.
• Configure and support Production Planning, including MRP, production orders, capacity planning and shop-floor processes.
• Support Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) manufacturing scenarios.
• Manage SAP MM processes covering procurement, inventory management, goods receipt/goods issue, stock transfers and material movements.
• Support procurement processes including PR, PO, STO and subcontracting.
• Work closely with manufacturing, warehouse, procurement and supply chain stakeholders.
• Manage integration between PP, MM, SD and warehouse/logistics processes.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, cutover and go-live/support activities.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and recommend process and system improvements.

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience as an SAP PP/MM Functional Consultant.
• Deep knowledge of SAP PP, particularly MRP, production orders and manufacturing execution processes.
• Strong SAP MM/IM knowledge covering procurement and inventory management.
• Practical experience with MTO/MTS manufacturing environments.
• Good understanding of PP-MM integration and broader logistics processes.
• Experience working directly with manufacturing and supply chain business users.
• Strong functional configuration, testing and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP APO / supply planning.
• Exposure to WMS/WM/EWM and warehouse processes.
• Experience integrating SAP with MES or other manufacturing systems.
• Previous experience within consumer goods, food & beverage, FMCG or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
