SCHOTT AG in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect for SAP PP and MM to align SAP with business goals and enterprise architecture. You will design and optimize production planning, manage MRP and capacity planning, and ensure robust SAP-MES integration in a manufacturing setting.

The role demands 5–10 years of SAP experience, SAP certification preferred, strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive data integrity and automation initiatives across

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Supply Chain, or related field.
SAP certification is highly preferred.
5–10 years of SAP functional experience.
At least 5 years in SAP Solution Architecture or a technical leadership role.
Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP and MM.
Proven SAP-MES integration experience in a manufacturing environment.
Deep knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
Excellent analytical, communication, moderation, and presentation skills.
Excellent teamwork and stakeholder management, and ability to adapt to change.
Willingness to learn and cross-functionally collaborate.

Responsibilities

Define best practices for SAP PP and MM modules.
Ensure SAP solutions align with business and enterprise architecture.
Review functional and technical designs before implementation.
Design and optimize production planning processes.
Manage MRP, production orders, capacity planning, shop floor control, production confirmation, batch management, and scheduling.
Improve planning efficiency through automation.
Support production execution and optimization initiatives.
Design and enhance procurement and inventory management processes.
Improve goods receipt, inventory management, and warehouse integration.
Define standards and governance for Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, and Production Versions.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and change control.
Lead data cleansing and migration activities.
Design and maintain SAP-MES integration.
Define interfaces for production orders, confirmations, goods movements, material consumption, and quality data.
Troubleshoot interface issues and improve reliability.
Coordinate with MES vendors and integration teams.
Identify automation opportunities.
Evaluate new technologies for operational efficiency.
Provide SAP PP/MM support.
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend system improvements.

Your Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
SAP certification is highly preferred.
Minimum 5-10 years of SAP functional experience.
Minimum 5 years in SAP Solution Architecture or technical leadership role.
Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP and MM.
Proven SAP-MES integration experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
Expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM).
Understanding of SAP-MES integration and manufacturing systems.
Strong analytical, communication, moderation, and presentation skills.
