The Company is seeking an accomplished SAP Manager with strategic orientation and hands‑on expertise in the manufacturing and supply chain modules. Based in their HQ in Taipei, Taiwan, this role focuses on continuous improvement, process standardization, and shop‑floor digital integration. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of full‑lifecycle SAP implementations specifically within Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and related shop‑floor modules. You will work alongside plant managers, line supervisors and materials planners to align SAP workflows with manufacturing processes and drive operational excellence.
Lead the standardization and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes across key SAP modules, including Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM).
Establish and enforce governance frameworks for production‑critical master data, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), Routings, Work Centers, and Material Masters, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance across manufacturing operations.
Optimize end‑to‑end shop floor processes covering production order management, material staging, goods movements, inventory transactions, scrap control, and Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP) to improve operational efficiency and production visibility.
Partner closely with Finance and Costing teams to ensure seamless integration between manufacturing operations and product costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and financial reporting within SAP.
Drive post‑implementation stabilization, continuous system enhancements, and manufacturing site rollouts, maintaining a hands‑on presence to identify and resolve operational challenges on the shop floor.
Provide functional leadership and technical support to production planners, supervisors, warehouse teams, and key users, particularly during critical production periods, system upgrades, and cutover activities.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement manufacturing technologies such as MES, barcode/RFID solutions, warehouse automation, and IoT‑enabled devices, ensuring effective integration with SAP to enable real‑time operational visibility and data accuracy.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and translate operational requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
Lead and facilitate internal SAP resources and external technical consultants to ensure shop‑floor enhancements and custom ABAP developments align with operational requirements.
Manage vendor performance, project deliverables, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful execution of SAP initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management
8+ years of SAP experience (implementation/user support) in manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a management or lead capacity
SAP implementation and optimisation projects especially involving PP, MM, QM, PM, WM/EWM
Experience with on‑site/shop‑floor operational support and user troubleshooting
Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin is desirable as the role will be based in Taipei, Taiwan and required to collaborate across regional sites span a few countries including China
Familiarity with production operations eg production scheduling, material planning, capacity planning and inventory management within SAP
