Job summary

SCHOTT ASIA IT SERVICES SDN BHD in Cyberjaya, Selangor, is seeking a Senior Specialist - SAP PP to join our ICT Consultants team. You will design, implement, and optimize SAP PP modules, driving business transformation and ensuring maximum value from SAP investments.

As a Senior Specialist, you will coordinate with global IT counterparts, mentor juniors, prepare training materials, and lead end-to-end SAP PP projects, including rollout and new solution implementations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP PP implementation and consulting.
• Deep SAP PP config knowledge and PP objects.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes incl. MES integration.
• Cross-module integration with MM, SD, WM, FICO.
• Customer-oriented IT service delivery.
• ABAP debugging knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with QM/PM/PLM is an advantage.
• Strong communication in technical and user language.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end SAP PP operations globally, incidents, problems, requests and changes.
• Provide high-quality SAP S/4HANA PP support and fix incidents.
• Participate in international and regional SAP PP projects.
• Consult business units on process optimization and future production processes.

SCHOTT ASIA IT SERVICES SDN BHD is seeking a Senior Specialist - SAP PP to join our dynamic Information & Communication Technology Consultants team. This is a full-time position based in Cyberjaya, Selangor, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic SAP Production Planning solutions to our clients. As a Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising SAP PP modules, driving business transformation initiatives and ensuring clients achieve maximum value from their SAP investments. This role offers significant opportunity to influence our consulting practice and establish yourself as a subject matter expert within the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the end-to-end functional operations of SAP Production Planning module (PP) in SCHOTT globally, which includes - Incidents, problems, service requests and change requests.
• Deliver high-quality functional and technical support for SAP S/4HANA Production Planning modules. Take ownership of investigating and resolving production incidents and service requests to meet established SLAs.
• Participate in international and regional projects involving of SAP PP and adjacent IT production solutions (Add-ons, mobile apps etc). Projects include solution rollouts, new plant rollouts, proof-of-concept execution and new solution implementation.
• As an internal consultant, support SCHOTT's global operating business units in process consulting and optimization and design the future production processes within the SCHOTT Group.
• Coordinate and communicate with IT counterparts, SAP colleagues and stakeholders globally, to drive projects and tasks so they completed on time and with the expected quality.
• Prepare training materials, conduct training sessions and upskill SAP key users.
• Mentor and coach juniors, providing support and peer review.
• Other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) module implementation and consulting
• In-depth configuration and customizing knowledge in SAP PP, strong knowledge of PP technical objects, migration tools (LSMW, MASS, LTMC) and standard interfaces.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing process knowledge, including but not limited to integration with manufacturing execution systems.
• Understanding of cross-module integration with adjacent modules such as SAP MM, SD, WM, FICO etc.
• Distinct customer orientation with regards to delivering of IT services.
• Preferable debugging and ABAP knowledge.
• Expertise and experience in other modules such as Quality Management (QM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
