Job summary

Aitek Group is seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead based in Shah Alam, Malaysia to drive SAP S/4HANA migration activities from planning through cutover. You will extract, profile, and cleanse data from legacy systems, define mappings and transformation rules, and coordinate remediation with data owners and IT teams.

The role requires strong SQL, ETL tooling, and Python scripting experience, plus familiarity with Databricks and Power BI for analytics and reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data migration or large-scale data transformation.
• Hands-on SQL, data profiling and ETL/data transformation tooling.
• Experience with SAP master and transactional data.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA migration approaches and tooling is desirable.
• Python scripting is a plus; Databricks and Power BI familiarity a bonus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Define and validate data mappings, transformation rules and business rules.
• Execute mock loads, migration testing and reconciliation activities.
• Support cutover and hypercare phases during go-live.
• Develop insights and reporting related to migration progress and data quality.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Data Owners, Data Stewards, Key Users and IT teams.
• Investigate root causes of data issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with international migration teams across multiple locations.

Requirement:

• 8+ years of experience in data migration, master data management or large-scale data transformation projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, data profiling and ETL/data transformation tools.
• Experience with SAP master and transactional data.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA migration approaches and migration tooling is highly desirable.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python is a plus.
• Interest in modern data and analytics platforms such as Databricks and Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
