Job summary

Continental in Malaysia is hiring for two Salesforce-focused profiles: DevOps Engineer and Developer, to support a global CRM rollout. The team builds and maintains CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and Salesforce customizations, while collaborating with project teams to ensure timely, quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification.
• 5+ years of DevOps / Release Engineering experience, ideally with Salesforce delivery.
• Proven hands-on experience building and running CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce (Azure DevOps/Git, SFDX/sf CLI).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce deployment concepts (metadata, environments/sandboxes, Apex tests & coverage).
• Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and familiarity with build tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive the DevOps and release strategy for a global Salesforce Sales & Service implementation.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, SFDX/sf CLI, automated tests, and quality gates.
• Define environment, branching, and release management strategies.
• Establish deployment governance, approval workflows, rollback plans, and hotfix procedures.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues, metadata dependencies, test failures, and permissions-related challenges.
• Collaborate with developers, admins, QA, and architects to support efficient software delivery.
