TheSalesforce DevOps Engineeris responsible for building and operating reliableCI/CD and release processesfor Salesforce. The role combines strong DevOps automation skills with Salesforce deployment expertise to deliver changessafely, consistently, and with full traceabilityacross environments.

Key tasks:

• Drive the DevOps and release strategy for a global Salesforce Sales & Service implementation
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Git, SFDX/sf CLI, validation deploys, automated tests, quality gates)
• Define environment and branching strategy, release governance, approvals, and rollback/hotfix procedures
• Troubleshoot deployment issues (metadata dependencies, test failures, permissions) and continuously improve speed and stability
• Enforce DevOps standards (PR policies, coding/deployment best practices, secrets management, auditability)

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
• 5+ years of experience inDevOps / Release Engineering, ideally withSalesforce delivery
• Proven hands-on experience building and runningCI/CD pipelinesfor Salesforce (e.g.,Azure DevOps/Git,SFDX/sf CLI)
• Strong understanding of Salesforce deployment concepts (metadata, environments/sandboxes, Apex tests & coverage, dependencies, rollback/hotfix)
• Solid scripting/automation skills (e.g.,PowerShell, Bash, Python) and experience with build tools and artifacts
• Experience with quality gates and code checks (automated tests, static analysis, PR policies)
• Knowledge of authentication and secrets management (service connections, Key Vault or equivalent)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum ways of working
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with developers, admins, QA, and architects
• Passion for improving processes and sharing knowledge
• Professional working proficiency inEnglish(written and verbal)
• Open to international travel (up to 10%)
