Job summary

Swang Chai Chuan Sdn Bhd (Mentakab) is seeking a results-driven sales leader to head the team across the Kedah region. You will drive monthly targets, coach staff, and build strong customer relationships while expanding the distributor network.

Travel within the territory is expected. The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Business/Marketing/Sales, at least 3 years in sales (FMCG/distribution preferred), and 1 year of supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably FMCG or distribution.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
• Willing to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor sales performance and provide coaching to improve productivity and effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while expanding the customer base.
• Plan and execute sales strategies, promotional activities, and market development initiatives.
• Ensure product availability, merchandising standards, and execution of trade promotions.
• Monitor competitors' activities and provide market feedback to management.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor customer collections and ensure compliance with the company's credit policy.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and other related documentation.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
