Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Food Service Team Leader (Central Region), you will be responsible for meeting sales targets and seeking new business opportunities by concentrating on local markets and introducing bakeries, food service, cafes, restaurants, caterers, hotels, clubs, hospitals, cinemas, airports, and cruises to our extensive product ranges, as well as maintaining our existing customer base. You will have a passion for pastries and bakery, enjoy meeting people, and be an ambassador of good pastries and bakery in Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve sales targets
• Identify, prioritize, and execute against accounts and prospects articulated in the sales plans
• Assist in developing and implementing effective marketing plans and promotional strategy for existing or new products launch to achieve company objectives and targets
• Assist in tender documentation and submission on time while protecting company interest to win contracts
• Ensure all enquiries and orders are well handled and coordinated till sales closure inclusive fulfilment of deliveries
• Continuously improve customer and distributor confidence and satisfaction in service and act as key liaison person between company interdepartmental and customers
• Handle and coordinate all commercial documents between company and customers
• Ensure proper documentation and book keeping of customer data
• Make regular visits to customers by recording work done and results, and reporting on them
• Prepare monthly sales reports of key customers, analyse them and take appropriate actions to maintain or increase sales
