Job summary

Far East Hospitality Management (S) Pte Ltd in Malaysia seeks a dedicated hotel sales professional to drive revenue through new business development and servicing existing accounts. You will carry out daily sales activities, including telemarketing, hotel visits, client entertainment, and virtual presentations to showcase products and services.

You will identify and generate leads, build relationships, respond promptly to inquiries, and provide market insights to management.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ degree in Sales & Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
• Min 3 years sales experience, hospitality preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking, and organizational skills.
• Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent the hotel professionally by maintaining high standards of grooming, conduct, and the ability to present hotel products and services effectively.
• Carry out daily sales activities including telemarketing, sales calls, hotel visits, client entertainment, and virtual presentations.
• Identify and generate new sales leads, establish new accounts, and expand the client base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular sales calls and site inspections to foster loyalty. Respond promptly to leads and enquiries with suitable solutions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using various company systems and sales tools, such as the property management system, customer relationship management system, and booker loyalty programs where applicable.
• Provide timely updates to supervisors and team members on sales activities and market insights. Review account portfolios regularly and present analysis with recommended action plans to management.
