Job summary

UMMI Surgical Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a driven medical devices sales professional to promote orthopaedic and neurosurgery products to surgeons and healthcare professionals.

You will provide intraoperative support, guide surgeons and OT staff on implant use, coordinate urgent cases, and build strong relationships with hospital personnel, including surgeons and OT staff. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; a degree in life sciences is preferred and willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in medical devices sales, preferably within the surgical supplies and healthcare industry.
• Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Science or related field
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
• Positive attitude with good interpersonal, strong persuasion and negotiation skills
• Problem-solving mindset and the creativity to develop innovative sales strategies
• Possess own transport and willing to travel
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Promote and support the company's orthopaedic and neurosurgery products to surgeons and healthcare professionals
• Provide intraoperative support, guiding surgeons and OT staff on the correct use of implants, instruments, and related products during surgical procedures
• Coordinate and respond to urgent, emergency, and add-on surgical cases, ensuring required implants and instruments are available
• Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, OT staff, and other key hospital personnel
• Gather surgeon feedback and provide updates on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
• Maintain strong product and clinical knowledge, including relevant anatomy, surgical techniques, implants, instruments, and clinical applications
